Air Cargo China 2016: Where the Airfreight Industry Meets

14 to 16 June the New Shanghai Exhibition Center (SNIEC) hosted the Transport Logistic China 2016. The show with 602 exhibitors from 48 countries, over 22,000 visitors of 65 countries increased its venue for 50% compared to 2014.

Air Cargo China is part of the famous transport and logistics exhibition Transport and Logistic China. China Air Cargo Development was dedicated to the issues related to airfreight and improvement of airfreight market, starting from building of freight units with further softening of the air law.

For the first time presented itself as one of the largest trade partners of China, with official delegation as official partner state of the show, and had national booth. Together with decision to invite partner country, Transport Logistic China made special accent in exhibition program, giving more attention to current development of Asian trade relations.

The n Minister of Transport, Maxim Sokolov, attended Transport logistic China 2016, and got amazed with variety of the exposition. "Transport Logistic China 2016 attracted many leading international companies, that presented broad variety of logistics products, technologies, and services. Quality of the exhibition visitors shows the status and the scale of this event. No doubt, that exhibition's program will have positive impact on international logistics development," he said.

Air Cargo China is the largest Asian event for airfreight that "moves in right direction" stated Dirk Reikh, the President and the Managing Director of Cargolux Airlines, that expects exhibition to lead to business growth in China. All key Asian market players occupied over 5,000 sq m in E1 pavilion which is 20% more compared to 2014. They studied trends in airfreight during exhibition and accompanying conference, that was held for the first time during the whole exhibition and was dedicated to the most important economics related issues for airfreight industry. Thus, the Air Cargo China visitors benefited not only from synergy of exhibition inside exhibition concept, but from other dedicated sections of Transport Logistic China.

Air Cargo China is of special importance for our company, as one of the largest grounds uniting Asia and Europe. Participation in Transport Logistic China allowed us to establish new contacts with potential customers, and to receive the latest news of logistics market. We held several meetings and agreed for further cooperation on several projects.
